Valley Overlook Scenic View, Pine Bush NY

Six legs, two antennas, and 1/16 of an inch long; an ant. That's what it feels like to be at the top of an overlook. My entire life in Jersey these experiences came every once in awhile, as places like the ones below are hard to find. The experience of seeing a huge valley makes me feeling so tiny, like an ant. I feel like the whole view could just gobble me up.

Valley Overlook Scenic View is a great place to stop along Route 52 in Pine Bush NY. There is a parking lot and the view does not require a hike, making it a great location to take handicap or disabled people to see an awesome view. Just up the road a little further is a pull off area that offers almost the same view, but also a hot dog stand (depending on the time of year). This pull off area would be an excellent backdrop to photograph a car driving up the mountain or even just pulled to the side.

I wouldn’t go out of my way to go to this overlook, but is definitely worth the stop if you’re in the area.
